Patricia Urquiola pursued her education in architecture and design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and later completed her studies at the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated under the guidance of Achille Castiglioni. Patricia Urquiola was acknowledged in Spain for her extraordinary talent and commitment, receiving the prestigious Golden Medal for Merits in Art and the Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic.
